Pogo For Animals: Where to Put Eggs and How to Place Them

A collected egg in Pogo For Animals goes inside your own base — the elevated spot you climb up to. Here's how to carry an egg back and place it inside.

You put an egg you collect inside your own base in Pogo For Animals. Your base is an elevated spot you climb up to, and every player has their own separate base — so your egg goes to your home ground, not anyone else's.

How to place an egg

  1. Collect the egg first. An egg has to come from a creature before you can place it anywhere. In one egg-hunting session, players set out with a big dragon, a shark, and a polar bear as their named sources, each trying to bring back the best egg of the session.
  2. Carry it up to your base. Your base sits above the ground, so after collecting, head back and jump your way up to it. Know where your base is before you go hunting — bases belong to individual players and can be far apart.
  3. Set the egg down inside. Once you're at the top, place the egg inside the base. That's the whole action: the egg is now sitting in your base.

Because the base is up high, your pogo jumping is what gets you and the egg there. If the climb gives you trouble, the how to jump and jump power guides cover jumping higher and farther.

What happens to your eggs

Eggs can also hatch into pets. In that same egg-hunting session, the eggs the players had gathered later hatched into bird pets: a black crow, a kite, and an owl (the crow was said to fly at night). Hatching is its own process — our how to hatch eggs guide covers that part.
