How to Hatch Eggs in Pogo For Animals: Grab an Egg, Wait Out the Timer, Get a Pet
How to hatch an egg in Pogo For Animals: pogo up to an egg and grab it, let the free hatch timer run, and it opens into a pet you can keep or sell for cash.
Hatching an egg in Pogo For Animals comes down to three stages: pogo up to an egg and grab it, wait out its free hatch timer, and the egg opens into a pet that's yours to keep or sell for cash.
Get an egg: pogo up and grab it
Eggs sit out in the world, tied to places and animals, and the way to get one is to reach it on your pogo stick. You'll find them around animal areas — one player carried an egg back from near the polar bear zone — and in tougher spots, like the dragon egg up in Dragon Mines.
Low eggs are reachable with an early setup. Eggs placed higher demand upgraded jump and speed: if you can see an egg but keep falling short, spend your cash on upgrades and come back for it. The jump power and how to go farther guides help you reach the hard ones.
Wait out the hatch timer
Hatching runs on a timer that starts the moment you collect the egg. There's no fee and no task to finish while it counts down. A 2x Hatch Speed game pass is sold for 499 Robux if you want a boost, but it's optional — hatching works without it.
Hatch waits haven't been pinned to exact numbers. One player guessed "about 1 minute" right after grabbing an egg, then spent the wait upgrading his treadmill and chasing other eggs; roughly 20 minutes into his run, that egg was finally able to open.
What hatching gives you
When the hatch timer finishes, the egg opens into an animal that becomes yours to keep or sell. Hatched eggs have produced animals such as a black crow — out of a big egg — a kite, and an owl. One player's egg opened into two pets worth 10K and 6K in cash, and a later hatch in the same run showed a 12K result. Different players' eggs have opened into different animals.
Pet slots, SELL ALL, and the cash loop
New pets go into limited pet slots — one player sat at 2 of 8 and bought another. Don't want the animals? SELL ALL converts your hatched pets into cash, and that cash funds the jump and speed upgrades that get you to the eggs you couldn't reach before. That's the loop the whole game runs on: pogo up for eggs, hatch them, generate cash, upgrade, and repeat. For more on animals, see how to get animals.
